How To Get There
Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, Medina, Marrakech — at the heart of the old city.
On foot
If you're staying inside the Medina, walking is usually the simplest option — most riads are within 5–20 minutes of the square through the surrounding alleys.
By taxi
Petit taxis are widely available and inexpensive. Ask the driver for “Jemaa el-Fnaa” and agree on a fare beforehand, or confirm the meter is switched on.
By bus
Several city bus lines stop near the edge of the Medina within a short walk of the square — look for routes heading toward the old town.
By car
The Medina's streets are narrow and largely pedestrian, so park in one of the public car parks around its perimeter and walk in from there.
